Quick Birthday Card

I made this cute quick card using the cupcakes from the Celebrations & Hello Kitty cartridges. The cardstock is Chocolate Chip from Stampin Up & the patterned paper is from DCWV Glittered Sweets Pack (soooo cute!!!). Before adherring the patterned paper I ran the inside of the card through my cuttlebug using the Happy Birthday folder (think that is what it's called anyway), I then used versamark frost & covered it with clear embossing powder & took my heat gun to it. I'm finally putting all my stockpiled paper to use =). Hope you enjoyed looking & have a great day =)

Valentine for my hubby

This card has lots of love & time put into it. I found some really cute printed paper made by PC in my stash of paper. I used a thicker cardstock for the step card & for the envelope & slider card that went in it & layered those with the printed paper. At first I had the smaller envelope & slider card seperate but deciced to use that on top of the step card, so I used the same paper for the step card as I did for the slider card. The slider card & it's envelope was cut at 5" from the Sweethearts cart. I used some shear ribbon from Walmart to tie a bow around the step card. The "Happy Valentine's Day!" was a rub-on, & the cut outs "love" & the hearts were cut from Paper Pups (I forgot the size I was doing this all on my gypsy, I know the width was 2.5"). I adhered the envelope with the slider card to the step card with some thin glue dots. That didn't seem to be enough for me so I went through all my crafty stuff again & found some hearts. The red shiny hearts I put over some of the smaller hearts already on the printed paper & where the little hearts are there was a little white dot so I used my zig 2 way glue pen & glued the little hearts to cover the dots & give it a little more shine under the light. I had to wait for the pups to go to sleep & let me play with their feet (I know I'm weird), I took my cats eye cranberry pigment ink & stamped their little paws & quickly pressed unto the white/heart paper that is the slider that goes into the envelope. Sadie woke up & was trying to pull her lil foot back (don't blame her) so her print came out a lil smeared, Romeo's came out pretty good. As soon as I got their print on the card I quickly washed off their paws with a warm cloth all ready to go. Poor things were confused as to what in the world I was doing. I think that is about it....hope you enjoy & hope you had a wonderful Valentine Day!

(My hubby absolutely loved the card & was loved the little prints from our pups...they had to sign the card too)

Valentine Goodie Bags

I made these goodie bags for my hubby's co-workers. The cello bags are from Stampin Up (4x6), gives you enough room for some candies & to be able to close & fold over the tops. After putting in the candies I sealed the tops & flipped the top over just a little to keep it closed while I was cutting the cardstock & printed paper. I used some left over cardstock that I used for my best friends baby shower invites forever & a day ago & the printed paper is something that I got at Joann's & had never used it. I cut the cardstock at 4 x 3.25 (I belive...sorry forgot to write it down was just going by how it looked). I cut the paper the same size & used a fiskers borderpunch around both sides so you can see a bit of the cardstock. I adhered the printed paper to the cardstock using mono-adhesive & adhered the cardstock to the cello bags with thin glue dots. The heart was cut out from doodlecharms at 2" & I ran them threw my Xyron 9" sticker maker (I found doing this makes it alot easier when glittering). I covered the hearts in a thicker glitter that I had in my stash. I am finally using all the stuff that I had got way back when I didn't have time to use it, forgot about it, then found it & got all happy. Yes I am odd, lol.

On another note I have been studying alot since I am taking my accounting class online & am very focused. I had 2 quizzes & an exam to be turned in by 2/10 & am extremely happy to say that I got 100 on ALL 3!!! I am sooooo excited about that, hopefully I can keep up the good work with school with all the craziness of life going on. I am very thankful to my husband & Robyn for constantly telling me that I can do this. They both have/had more confidence in me than I had in myself. Since I got the scores that I wanted & pushed myself so hard to get my confidence (schoolwise) is growing each time I get those great grades! If your still reading by now...thanks & I hope that you enjoy my goodie bags. This was my first time making them...I think they turned out pretty good. Hope you all have a wonderful day =)
