Easter Goodie Bags

I made these for my hubby's co-workers. I used Cordenations Gemstone cardstock...so shimmery =) The eggs on some of them are from the Doodlecharm cart. The patterned paper is from the 09 Spring Stack by DCWV & the sentiment is from Stampin' Up!. I was able to use my ATG 714 for the first time with these, it was so much easier & faster to get it all done.

And while I'm "hard at work"...this is what one my pups was doing! All cuddled in the huge throw (if it wasn't for his brown he would blend into the white)!

Thanks for stopping by I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!

My first Prima Flowers =)

I've never had any Prima flowers & found a lot on ebay for 10.00 with free shipping so I went ahead & got it. These are the same flowers that I was looking at when I was in Michael's about 2 weeks ago. So in the future there are probably going to be flowers popping up everywhere (if my dogs don't get into my craft area & try to eat them!). It's starting to get nice here, still a lil cold but alot better than a month ago. My cold is probably warm for everyone else but I'm use to FL summer weather. I had the BEST weekend so far, I just wanted to share my new items with everyone before getting ready for church. I reserve my Sunday's to church & family, I've got the rest of the week for other things! Hope you all had a good weekend!

Things to come....

I just wanted to let you all know that there will be some things coming up. I have a super busy weekend. I am currently taking my college courses (Accounting) online & with me being feverish & not wanting to even get up I've got to get my schoolwork done before my crafting. After my quizzes are done & all that good stuff I will be posting some new things =), I'm learning new things & I want to share that ALL with you. Have a WONDERFUL weekend to everyone =)

Project in progress...

Well my laptop, router & I have been at it all day...sigh! I won...for the meantime anyway! I've never done a wordbook before but have seen them & thought they were really cute & my stepmoms bday is coming up (on the 9th!) so I decided that I was going to make one for her. I started this today & it really isn't that hard, some people told me it was really hard but I sat with my gypsy & got my layout done. I picked up some chipboard from my local crafty store & went to work. I am posting several pics of what it looks like closed & open. This is sooo not complete this is just the first step, tomorrow (or maybe later tonight) I'm going to start adding pictures, emblishments, ribbons & all that other good stuff. One thing that some people said they were having problems with was getting the back side of the chipboard covered correctly when they were cutting it with their cricut. I just turned the side of the paper that I wanted to have showing on the book over so I was looking at the back (white) side of the paper. (Better explaination...the back of the first "M" the patterned paper I wanted to use I put that on the sticky part of the mat so when it was done cutting I just flipped it over & it was a mirrored image...that make sense?) If you have any questions about how I did this I'd be more than happy to share & also if you have any suggestions PLEASE feel free to comment. I'm new to making these & I don't have a Bind It All so I am just planning on using some leather type material to tie it all together. Thanks for stopping by =)

Desktop Calendar

This was put together tonight. It was made with just regular cardstock scored in different places, not using any dies or anything. The little "drawer" pulls out (I push it from the back to open it so the front doesn't get all out of shape). Hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by!
