After doing challenge #2 I made a simple birthday card. I used Wild Card for the card & all the layers. I popped the images up & used some stickles. Enjoy!

Cold Day Challenge #2

This is the 2nd challenge that Robyn from mypinkstamper.com posted to her site. This theme was to do something springy since it's so cold out! I went through my scrap paper to do this card. I used the rest of the light blue cardstock that I used for yesterdays challenge. I did this with my gypsy so I used several different carts. For the embossing I used the Stylized Flowers folder in my cuttlebug. The grass is from Gypsy Wanderings, the butterflys are from Tear Drop & the sun is from Wild Card. I used some gems that I found in all my scraps & used some stickles to add a little more sparkle. And last I used pop dots to pop it all up. Thanks for stopping by =)

Cold Day Challenge #1

This is a challenge that Robyn from mypinkstamper.com posted. It was to do something with your favorite color with black. My favorite color is blue sooo I made a card using DCWV black cardstock, the lightblue is Gemstones (got from Joann's) & the darker blue is also DCWV. I cut the flowers from the Sweet Treats cart, page 50. I cut the largest one at 2", 2 cut at 1.50" & 6 at 1". I used the clear with glitter embossing powder on the darker blue flowers & middles to give it some shine. Last but not least I used pop dots to give all the flowers some dimension. Hope you enjoyed the card, have a good day!!! (In one of the pics you can see my lazy cat laying on the cable box, lol)

Card I just made....

This is what I was making before the Stampin Up class & finished it when I got home. There are some embellishments I want to put on it just haven't gotten them cut yet. I hope that you like all the new things that I have put up & have a great weekend!

First Stampin Up thingy....

This something that I did at my first Stampin Up hostess thingy, I had maybe 4 mins max to get the card done because I had to come home to get my hubby up for work!

All the stuff that I've been doing...

I know I was suppose to post things way before now however things with school & life just well, that comes first! The first card (blue) is the TriFold card I made my hubby (still trying to get the hang of getting things just right with it). The 2nd card (beige & brown) is a split fold card I made for a friend.

Baby card

I made this for a friend at church. We were notified on last minute that we were throwing her a small baby shower that night at church so it was a quick make!

One of my first cards

This is a card that I made for my husband after getting the Wild Cards cartridge. The picture was taken using my phone.

3D Poinsettia

I cut out 12 layers of the poinsettia from Winter Woodland (always want to call it Winter Wonderland). I cut the 1st at 6" in green for the leaves then I cut 11 poinsettia's using the shift key starting at 6" going down to 1" by 1/2" increments. I didn't have my cuttlebug at the time so I hand did the embossing using my Fiskar's folder (that took forever!!!). I colored in the embossed area with a red gelly roll gell pen. Then the last step was putting one layer on top of the other using pop dots in between each one for the 3D look, I layered them not right on top of each other but turned each one so that way it had a better flowered/3D look to it. I will be doing this again but this time with better quality pop dots since the ones I used aren't that great & I have a cuttlebug this time so it won't take forever to get them embossed.

Birthday Card

Here are a couple pictures of the card I made for my neice's 17th birthday. Man they grow up quick!!! I took these pictures using my phone so it doesn't bring out the detail the card really has.

Card for a friend

This was a super quick card I made for a friend. I had to get it made & out by the time the mailman got here. I finished the card then found one of my beaded flower sticker thingys so added that. Hope you enjoy!

Here is the card I made for the challenge...

So in between doing housework, helping my hubby get ready for work, figuring out how to do this...I got this card done. This is the card that I made for the challenge on MyPinkStampers blog. Hope you like it(couldn't figure out which pic I liked best with or without flash so I uploaded both)!

First time for everything....

I've been doing crafting & stuff for years now but have never posted anything online, & have never done this whole blog thing. So I figured with this New Year may as well try new things! I'm just getting this set up & hope to start posting things later tonight! I am making some things for a challenge that a friend has started on her site. I am sure that you probably have heard of her & watched several or all of her video's (Robyn from mypinkstamper.com). If you haven't checked out her site your missing out so go check it out!
